Tamara Sedmak is a renowned journalist and TV host in Switzerland and Germany. For over 15 years, she has been a host and commentator for a variety of media channels (including Sat1, Sat 1 Switzerland, n-tv, N24, Sky, Sport1, SSF, SRF, Radio Energy, and Blick newspaper) as well as events for industries ranging from IT and automotive through food and travel, fashion, film and lifestyle, to health and medicine. Some of her most recent appearances include live commentary for the Miss Switzerland 2014 contest seen on Sat1 Switzerland, the "Tipps & Trends" show broadcast on 90 German regional TV stations and the "Marktschau.TV" business report seen on Tele Züri, Tele M1, StarTV and SSF (Swiss sports broadcaster), the German DTM Motorsport for Mercedes AMG for all social media and yotube, along with regular appearances for Blick TV/Ringier Media. In May 2015 she was hosting in english the international FIFA Congress in Zurich.

In Germany, Tamara Semak became known as a weather reporter on Sat 1 and as a film commentator on Premiere/Sky. In Switzerland, she came to the public eye as a model, first as the winner of the "Concours Mannequin" modeling contest in Paris in 1991 and then in 1992, by taking the crown in the world's top modeling competition, the "Elite Model Look" contest in New York. In 1999/2000, Tamara became Miss Switzerland - People's Choice.
While still pursuing her education, she also worked as a model in Milan, Paris, New York and Switzerland (Diesel campaign, Swiss campaign, etc.). As an actress, she appeared in the German hit comedy "Ready, Steady, Charlie!" as well as in the TV series "Scharmör" on SRF2 and sang in the pop band HWC for two years (later going solo). At the same time, she embarked on a work placement in television and decided to pursue journalism and presenting as a career.
